Welcome to Airstream Sister’s Network

A COMMUNITY OF WOMEN, WHO ARE PASSIONATE AND INSPIRED TO MASTER AIRSTREAM LIFE.

Who Am I and Why Join Me?

In the past 43 plus years, Lindy has traveled the United States extensively, taught in several areas of discipline and leads a life full of passion. But, what has brought you here?

In 2013, Lindy purchased her first travel trailer, a 1965 Vintage Airstream. And since then, Lindy has been a solo adventurer.  As an independent woman, Lindy found that she spends much of her time helping other's who are also on solo, camping/glamping and nomadic lifestyle paths, especially in the Airstream community.

Lindy was raised in Michigan by an adventurous Father and a Mother who were happy to be a creative teacher and entrepreneur.  While, she picked up her Father's wanderlust side, she also has the love for teaching and helping others instilled in her.

She has worked and lived on the coasts of both oceans teaching and experiencing many areas of the United States in between.  She pioneered the sport of stand up paddle boarding to the Great Lakes Region, which is when she bought her trailer.

Of all the places she has lived, she feels most at home in her Airstream named, Mitten Kitten.  She is a multi-passionate woman as a Teacher of Natural Science, Yoga, Paddle Boarding, and as a Motivational Coach, Travel Writer, Ambassador and Advocate.  Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis are part of her active life, which has been a driving force in continuing to Airstream.

Her Motto paraphrased is "I'd rather wear out than rust out" a quote by Wally Byam, Creator of Airstream himself.

Over the last 8 years, Lindy has become part of several growing communities.  Not just the Airstream community, but the expanding interest in glamping, vintage trailers and camping/outdoor-life by women.  She founded the Mitten Kitten Sisters Glamping in 2014, partnered with Asheville Glamping and in 2017 created the Solo Streaming Sisters, bringing women with the same interest together.  Now 4 years later, after careful observation, feeling a need and living the passion she has launched the Airstreaming Women's Network.  We welcome inclusively all women who have a love for Airstreams to join this first of it's kind online community.

Bringing together women, Airstreams and coupling them with a community all their own, connecting each other, leaders, resources, offering online and in person education, social events and much more is now becoming a reality.  Lindy's devotion to bringing the Airstream Women's movement front and center couldn't make her more honored and excited for you.

Lindy stated "Whether you are a proud owner or about to be owner of an Airstream travel trailer, this group has been a long time coming.  It's now quite evident that women are a driving force in the RV world!"

Come along with Lindy and other Airstream women who will see a connection and transformation as a result of being involved in a community that supports friendships, travel, education and their lifestyle.

A Big Thanks
